" In an average lifetime, you would have spent a total of about six years of it dreaming. That is more than 2,100 days spent in a different realm!" If we can spend this much time dreaming then there has to be meaning behind it. We are lucky to have cracked the secret language of dreams and be able to tell what our unconscious minds are trying to tell us even though we are wired to cover the true meaning. Dreaming is also very important if you do not dream then you could be showing signs of irritability and anxiety. It helps recharge the mind and revitalize the body. With all these tips and the website I gave you I would try and decode a dream you had one day just to see what you would get. It could never hurt and it can be really interesting depending on how deep and far you get into it.

I recently talked to a family member about a dream he had and I thought I would share it and their meanings! “ I was at the pool and it was a really nice summer day then all the sudden it got really cloudy like it was going to rain. I was with my family and I went to the blanket and laid down and closed my eyes for a couple of minutes. When I opened them my family was gone, no one was around. I looked into the pool and it was filled with blood. I turned around and then all the sudden dinosaurs were everywhere and then in a blink of an eye everyone was back again. Then all the sudden the dinosaurs were chasing me and right before I was about to be eaten I woke up.” A pool can show that you need to be cleansed and wash away the past. Storm clouds can show an eruption of emotions or even a lack of wisdom and confusion a situation. Seeing your own family shows you feel security, warmth, and love. Dinosaurs can mean you have an outdated attitude and being chased by a dinosaur can reflect old issues that are coming back to haunt you. Figuring out a dream is so interesting that you will want to keep doing it for every dream you have. Trying to decode a dream proves really interesting because when you sit here and say that this is what so and so means then you can really sit and think how it relates to your life and then you can truly see why you would dream such things.
Know that you know the kinds of dreams that you can have and I'm sure that you are thinking about your dreams that you can remember and what they mean. There are symbols that you can pull from a dream that have meanings. Well I pulled some common things that people dream about and found their meanings. Animals physical characteristics, primitive desires, and sexual nature. They represent the untamed and uncivilized parts of ourselves. Angels can mean goodness, purity, protection and comfort. Dreams containing angels can mean messages toward greater fulfillment and happiness. Every dream about that you are drowning says that you are feeling overwhelmed by emotions. Death is a very common dream to have whether it is the death of a loved one or if it is you dying. To dream that you are dying represents inner change, transformation, self- discovery, and positive development is happening in your life. If it is death of a loved one then it means that you are lacking a certain aspect that your loved one has. Fires can mean many things as well like destruction, desire, transformation or even anger. It can suggest that something old is passing and something new will be entering into your life. Seeing blood? This could mean life, love and passion and disappointment All these things can be picked out of one dream and be analyzed and given meaning. Once you have the meaning then you unconscious mind can be exposed and that can help in many things like in therapy. You have something that you keep dreaming about you can find out the meaning of that on www. dreammoods.com.

Who is the masterminds behind decoding dreams? Sigmund Freud is probably the one you hear about the most. Through dreaming you can catch a glimpse into your unconscious mind or your id. Struggle to remember your dreams? Thank your superego for that. Your superego protects the conscious mind from the disturbing images that your unconscious mind has brought up. Alfred Adler is another theorist on dream decoding. He believes that dreams are problem solving devices. Your dreams and problems of daily life are connected and the more dreams you have the more problems you have.We all know about nightmares and day dreaming as forms of dreams but there are actually 11 types of dreaming all together. (Day dreams, false awakening, nightmares, lucid, recurring, healing, prophetic, signal, epic, progressive, and mutual dreams.) Who knew right? I didn't know that there are different types of dreams other than nightmares and day dreams. Mutual dreams are when two people have the same dream. These type of dreams can be planned but they can also be spontaneous as well. It can happen with you and a friend, significant other, a relative that lives far away. It is said that if this type of dream happens then you have a really strong bond with the other person. Epic dreams are when you have a dream that is so huge and vivid that you can ignore them no matter what you do.

Did you ever wake up from a dream and couldn't stop thinking about it all day? Wondering what it meant and why you would dream something like that. "In an average lifetime, you would have spent a total of about six years of it dreaming. That is more than 2,100 days spent in a different realm."( Dreammoods.com) Analyzing dreams has been a fascination in the world for a long time. Dreams were once documented on clay tablets. Society members saw dreams has a part of reality and was also a very powerful world. When people would talk about their dreams others would think they were crazy, Ill in the head, addicted to drugs, or they were just under anxiety. Sigmund Freud introduced the importance of dreams and what there secret meaning was. Because of Freud we found out some pretty cool things about dreams like if you dream your going bald then it shows you may have a lack of self esteem or you worry about getting older. If your dreaming that you are in pain suggests that you are being to hard on yourself. Knowing key things like this can really be helpful to some in therapy. Decoding dreams has come a long way and it gets more and more exciting the more we learn about it. After all one- third of your life is spent sleeping so why not try and figure out what your dreams are telling you!
